Darwin Ecton: They type of boat will vary depending on the type of water you are planning to be on. For calmer flatter water a jon boat works great and most 14 foot jon's can take a Goos sized outbord along with an electric motor. Now if the water will be rougher you will want a V hull or semi V. This will cut through the waves and not slap against them so much. As with the jon boat this will work well in flat water and will not blow around in the wind as much because of the hull design. Below will be some links to some reputable boat companies so you can compare the utility and costs. http://trackerboats.com/index.cfmhttp://www.klamathboats.com/index.htmlhttp://www.alumacraft.com/http://www.crestliner.com/http://www.lundboats.com/http://www.loweboats.com/...Show more
