Marquetta Gimm: Pine Sol In Laundry
Lady Laflin: I have used the blue scented pine sol many times in laundry, makes a great deodorizer for things that smell like dog, even when used in very small quantities, and my bottle of it says nothing about not using it in laundry.
Gertrude Darke: Because the oil in the pine sol will over power smells. You will smell like a freshly cleaned public bathroom all day!
Toney Flaten: I agree with Kim 1
Salvador Prchlik: I agree with karen l. I had to search the net a while back to get musty smells out of my washer, dryer, and garments/towels. I don't have my source anymore, because I got my answer, however it was not from yahoo answers. My laundry did not smell like pine-sol after hitting the dryer (per the suggestion). The answer also stated to use the original scent. I also tried disinfectant mouthwash (the pale golden color--original listerine or generic) per another suggestion from the web. It worked nic! ely too. Laundry still smelled a little of the mouthwash, but not as bad as that musty smell! My washer and dryer are still safe after many loads. I hope this extra info helps out....Show more
Keven Woodington: I've never used it as "detergent" but, when my husband washes his work clothing it really works to get the dirt/grease out of his clothing... I'm quite the opposite I can't stand the smell of pine-sol and would simply die if my clothing smelled like it.... However, to each his own ! Good luck
Tana Dumoulin: Pine sol is made for floors and could damage the fibres in your clothing. Not to mention the smell, it's very strong and may also give you a nasty rash because it is not designed to clean clothes and if there is any residue it could irritate you,It probably won't create suds either, you need to use laundry detergent, you could clog and damage your machine.Good luck:)...Show more
