Janita Tetlow: It's not necessarily your router that could be the cause of the problem, it could be your connection internet speed; especially if more than just your console is getting used (like other computers in the house) can interrupt this.Try using speedtest.net, if your ping is over 30, download and upload speed are under 1.00 then this could definitely be the cause, if so consider upgrading your net (fibre optic is worth looking at).If none of the above are a problem, it could be numerous things - try using an ethernet cable to wire your connection if you haven't already.- Open up all ports in the internet settings- Check your match search preferences.Goodluck solving....Show more

Derrick Cacioppo: There's a possibility that it's the router. You could buy it and keep the receipt in case that's not the problem. With us, the problem was two things. One! time it was a defective phone cord from the wall to the router. The other time it was the distance from the router to our PS3. (Too far). Oh wait, there was a third time where the phone cord was too long on the router... (Not the ethernet cable, but the actual phone cord).Good luck!...Show more
