My HD tivo will just all of sudden go blank, doesn't display the channel anymore, any suggestions? read below?

Lana Uliano: It sounds like it could be a cablecard problem. You may need to contact your cable provider as the cablecard may be going bad.

Melina Minneweather: There are 4 things that fix this:Unplug the TiVo and plug it back in.Reboot the TiVo.Clear and Delete EverythingThe best way to fix this problem is to put it in Standby. Hit the TiVo button on the top of the remote control. Go to Messages and Settings. Then go to Standby. Then hit the TiVo button to bring it out of standby.I suggest you put the TiVo in Standby every time you ware done watching TV. The TiVo will still be able to record, and you should never run into this problem again....Show more
