how can i fix a rail that came loose from the concrete on the porch?

Virgilio Echter: Use a TAPCOM insert, U may have to clean the hole, drill I mean. Insert, put in new bolt.

Norris Rosener: Was this install the type where a large hole was drilled in the concrete and then the railing set in place? If so, most home centers, but not all, sell a small box of powder designed for this called expansion cement. Clean the hole as best as possible and mix this stuff up like apple sauce and fill in as best as possible.

Giovanna Cramblit: if the railing had bolt that borken off then driill it out and put new one in. but if the railing was in concrete and broken off then you going have to buy a barket that you can screw dlon in the concete and set the raing in to it

Lyndon Mattas: Is it bolted to the concrete or set in concrete.

Chris Wilczewski: i'm going to guess that this is a flange that was bolted to the concrete cap...do as handyman says and clean the hole out and try a bigger tap-con...if you cant remove the flange to w! ork on it try a wooden dowell and epoxy to fill the hole and re-drill a pilot hole for new screws...
